A second chance for vulnerable youth across the Middle East
The Problem and Opportunity:
Rapid growth in the youth population is changing the face of the Middle East and North Africa. With 60% of the population now under the age of 25, this demographic surge is reshaping the region.
Out-of-school youth are a particularly vulnerable population—with public resources stretched thin in most countries and a current labor market that cannot absorb them. These young people are at higher risk for exploitive child labor, future unemployment, physical abuse, substance abuse, behavioral problems and delinquency, and social exclusion.
Adequate education, leadership, and development opportunities for the most vulnerable in this young generation are critical to ensuring a vibrant future for youth in the region.
The Questscope Difference:
For over two decades, Questscope has assisted leaders and other organizations across the Middle East and North Africa to improve the prospects of at-risk youth and others who are vulnerable.
